Set of Six Wall Lights

Italian architect and designer Angelo Mangiarotti (1921–2012) united structural invention with a deep knowledge of stone, glass and metal. His gravity-jointed furniture, including the Eros tables, demonstrates his belief that construction itself can generate beauty. He received the Compasso d’Oro lifetime achievement award in 1994; a retrospective was held at Triennale Milano in 2002, followed by another major exhibition in 2023. His work is also represented in the Triennale’s collection.
