In collaboration with Hartis. The structure of the piece fuses the fluid shape of the mirror with a black crown composed of individual leather and suede feathers, assembled in a pattern resembling a bird’s wing. The leather and suede elements are re-used workshop scraps dyed with natural pigments and crafted by the Parisian leather artisans Ateliers Fey using embossing techniques that evoke the texture and visual effect of feathers.
